Moroccan trail and skyrunning specialist from Zagora who grew up in a Berber nomadic family before moving to Switzerland in 2016. Elazzaoui turned professional in 2018 and rose through the Golden Trail World Series with technical descending, patient race tactics, and repeated wins on 20K to marathon-distance mountain courses. Racing for NNormal, he became the first African man to win the Golden Trail World Series in 2024 and defended the title with a perfect 2025 season.
