Maude Mathys
Swiss professional mountain runner and ski mountaineer who has dominated European mountain running for over a decade. Maude Mathys began as a pole vaulter, becoming Swiss junior champion in 2005, before transitioning to mountain running after her first pregnancy in 2011. She quickly rose to elite status, winning seven Swiss national titles and six European championships. Known for her consistency and tactical racing, she achieved a perfect season in 2021, winning all her races including the Golden Trail World Series title. She also competes in ski mountaineering and has balanced her athletic career with raising a family.
