Rémi Bonnet is a Swiss mountain athlete from Charmey, in the Gruyère region, who is a dual force in ski mountaineering and uphill mountain running. A Salomon and Red Bull athlete, he won the Golden Trail World Series overall title in 2022 and 2023, took the 2025 World Mountain Running Championships uphill world title in Canfranc, and set the Vertical Kilometer world record of 27:21 at Fully in 2025. On snow he is a six-time ski mountaineering world champion who claimed his first overall ISMF World Cup crystal globe in 2026, becoming the first Swiss to do so since 2010. He is widely regarded as the world's premier vertical and uphill specialist.
