Born in 2015, the Arc of Attrition is one of the UK's largest and most demanding winter ultra trail events. The point-to-point race follows the stunning and exposed South West Coast Path from Coverack on the south coast to Porthtowan on the north coast, completing an 'arc' around the Cornish peninsula. Known for its brutal winter weather conditions, the race has an average DNF rate of over 50%. A Black Buckle is awarded to sub-24 hour finishers, Gold for sub-30, and Silver for completing within the 36-hour cutoff.
