An elite-only pursuit-format race introduced in 2026 on the legendary 2023 World Mountain and Trail Running Championships courses, with €30,000 in prize money. The competition runs over two days: a 7.4 km / 1,330 m+ Vertical qualifier on Thursday determines the start order for Friday's 23.9 km / 1,450 m+ Trail Pursuit from the Tyrolean State Theatre. Entry is limited to men with 750+ ITRA points and women with 650+ ITRA points; prize money is paid only after a negative doping test.
