A new trail race set around Suginohara Ski Resort in the Myoko Mountains of Niigata prefecture. The course starts with a demanding climb into the Myoko Mountain Range, one of Japan's 100 most famous, followed by a steep descent offering panoramic views across the region including Lake Nojiri, before a second tough ascent via the neighbouring Ikenodaira Ski Resort.
