Vietnam's oldest trail race and the country's first ultra marathon, held every September during the golden rice harvest season in the spectacular mountains of Sa Pa. Founded in 2013 by Topas, the event has grown to become one of Asia's most prestigious trail races, welcoming over 4,000 runners from 50 countries. The courses traverse stunning terraced rice paddies, ethnic minority villages, and mountain ridges with views of Fansipan, Vietnam's highest peak. VMM joined the World Trail Majors in 2025.
