François D'Haene
French elite athlete specializing in ultra running and mountain running. D'Haene is a four-time UTMB champion and holds the course record set in 2017 (19:01:54). A former physiotherapist who became a wine-grower from 2012 to 2021, he now lives in Beaufort and organizes the Ultra Spirit trail event. Winner of the 2024 Tor des Géants and 2021 Hardrock 100, setting course records at both. After battling injuries in 2022-2023, he returned to winning form in 2024-2025.
