Shortened because of the risk of strong afternoon thunderstorms: the organizers activated the bad-weather alternative course (59km / 4,080m+ instead of 100km / 6,600m+). The 05:30 start was kept and runners followed the usual route over Niu de l'Àliga to the Cortals aid station (km 36), then turned back to Bagà via Coll de Pendís, Refugi Sant Jordi and Vents del Cadí, finishing mid-morning. The Friday-night Nit Pirineu vertical was also cancelled because of the weather.
