French professional ultra-trail runner known for his versatility across distances and terrain. Born in Les Deux Alpes, Germain's athletic journey began with alpine skiing and cycling, reaching the DN1 amateur level before an arterial injury forced him to stop at age 21. After studying physics and engineering geology at Polytech Grenoble, he transitioned to trail running in 2015, quickly rising to elite status. Nicknamed 'Serge,' he's known for his musical talents (piano, accordion, guitar) and co-created the ONE&1 duo race in the Alpes-Maritimes. He lives in Haute Tinée valley and is in a relationship with American trail runner Katie Schide.
